Consent, privacy, and getting help
Read your institution's privacy notice and study information. Course registration, educational progress recording, and research participation are not the same thing.
Study choicesโ
If your account is assigned a pending study decision, the application may ask you to consent or decline before clinical learning.
Read the published document and the displayed learning-after-decline policy. Depending on the approved course setup, declining/withdrawing may allow non-study learning or block study-only access.
Optional signup offers do not require you to join the study merely to view the offer. If you explicitly opt in, the study's decision workflow applies.
Online consent requires the shown declaration and requested identity fields; declining does not require entering names. Names are encrypted rather than shown as an ordinary account profile field.
Documents and withdrawalโ
Use the study/consent link in the dashboard or patient navigation to review status, retrieve the accepted PDF, or withdraw participation. Document access remains available in the supported consent states, including after withdrawal.
Withdrawal is not automatically full account deletion or deletion of every learning record. For identity, retention, or access questions, contact the withdrawal/support contact provided by your institution.
Report a problemโ
Signed-in students can submit a bug report from application/patient navigation, including ID/PIN and LMS sessions.
Include:
- What you were trying to do.
- The visible error or unexpected behavior.
- Approximate time and a short list of steps.
Do not include passwords, PINs, authentication/recovery codes, private signup/display links, real patient data, answers, or chat transcripts.
Technical context is uploaded only when you submit. The reporting feature does not capture screenshots, cookies, browser storage, credentials, clinical records, chat, or answers. Automatic redaction cannot recognize every confidential sentence you type.
If you cannot sign in, use your institution's support channel rather than another person's account. For a locked activity, first check course progression and scheduled access.
