For Course Administrators
Use the Moderation panel to prepare teaching content and organize courses. Its Administration menu contains additional tools according to your permissions. The old standalone administration pages redirect here.
Set up your first course
- Check your permissions.
- Create or revise cases and complete review/publication.
- Create a classroom and assign teaching staff.
- Choose direct/random practice or publish an ordered sequence.
- Add assessments, learning classes, or group seminars as needed.
- Organize access and registration, then test as a synthetic learner.
For a teacher-led sequence with a group seminar, use the preparation and staff handoff checklist. Give teachers the live session guide, not only the authoring instructions. Publishing prepares the content; an assigned supervisor still needs to open and conclude the live run.
Questionnaire authoring and Stats have independent permissions, not an implicit grant through classroom management. Use results and statistics to choose the right reporting surface.
What you should not need to do
Routine authoring does not require changing source files, generating SQL/CSV imports, or editing patient records in a database dashboard. Structured forms, validation, previews, and publication replace that old workflow.
Some controls remain application-administrator-only, including system settings, LTI, permissions, standard values, and reference-catalog replacement. Ask the responsible administrator rather than bypassing the panel.
If collecting research data, complete the separate study and consent setup before issuing study-linked access.
